Special rules apply to how student organizations may and may not use the College’s name and official marks.
Special Status Organizations
Special status organizations should use the currently designed logos, which their advisor currently possesses. The use of all other UVA Wise marks, symbols, logos, mottoes, or other indicia of the College is not permitted.

Contracted Independent Organizations
The College will permit use of its name as part of the CIO's name in the form of "The XYZ Club at UVA Wise."
"UVA Wise XYZ Club” or any similar use of other College marks (e.g., “UVA Wise Club”) is NOT acceptable in any form including as part of a top-level domain name.
The College will permit use of the designated CIO logo lockup for the CIO. The use of all other UVA Wise marks, symbols, logos, mottoes, or other indicia of the College is not permitted. Clubs can also create their own logos so long as that logo does not use official marks, symbols, logos, mottoes, or other indicia of the College.
